Loving: I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas time. It feels magical. I love the Christmas music, I love the smells, I love the decorations, and I LOVE SHOPPING. I was a black Friday...ok, really, I started on Thursday...nut. Thursday night I went shopping for a TV with my nephew. It is sort of a tradition now. I did stop to take a 4 hour nap from midnight until 4 am. I told you, I am a nut! But now my shopping is all done.
Thinking: I may NEVER finish my 'Tis the Season May never be finished! Yesterday, my computer flashed the BLUE sign of death and 90+ pages turned to 40!!! I have recreated a lot of it and hope to post it tomorrow night. I am sad that it will not be on people's wishlists tomorrow.
Wanting:I enjoyed my five days off. They were full of fun with my family, including three of my four brothers and their families. We ate a lot. We shopped a lot. We had a great time. But, now I need a day to rest. And, to fold my laundry.
Needing:Yes, I could have gotten a great deal on a new computer on Friday, but I prefer to spoil my family this time of year. Maybe for my birthday....in April.
Favorite Tradition:When I was growing up, my family always spent Thanksgiving at my Grandparents house with my cousins. We always decorated my Grandma's enormous tree. We would always enjoy going through the ornaments and pick out our favorites. After my Grandma passed away, many of those ornaments ended up my tree. The tradition continues as my girls and their cousins go to my moms every year to decorate her tree. She always send them home with a new ornament to put on out tree. LOVE IT. I am also a SUCKER for all Christmas movies. Classic Christmas movies, kids movies, Hallmark movies. Yes, even ABC Family movies.
